He came prepared!

Science Project “Suggest said Project to parent. Then estimate minutes/seconds until his interference…I mean, assistance”

Asking for Sherman’s thoughts may not achieve much, but fortunately it usually doesn’t take very long.

That’s an awfully long list, Sherman.

Be afraid, be very afraid. They’re all bad ideas.

Herman knows his father all too well.

Herman’s expression in the last panel looks remarkably like Fillmore’s when Sherman is pestering HIM.

My Dad was good about being “hands off” with my science projects. He knew I would feel better about my own work. He didn’t even point out I had misspelled the word “fluorescent” in big type at the top of my display. (Probably would have won but it was a good lesson.)

Those little sharks type quite well nowadays.

Let Sherman do his project, you do yours.

I don’t think that Sherman has found out what the science project is. It is impossible that he could have suggestions for it.

Maybe Sherman & Fillmore could come up with their own projects and compete against other dads at the school.

Herman knows Sherman has ideas already.

He knows the project is a lost cause. The kid’s only consolation is he is not the only one.

I love the look on Herman’s face!
