I haven’t had cable TV for many years. But I had noticed that there was some “mission drift” with cable channels. “History Channel” wasn’t about history, MTV wasn’t showing music videos, etc. For example, “A&E (Arts & Entertainment)” focused on making custom motorcycles. I don’t know if that’s still the case. So I’m guessing the Cheese Channel would be covering something else altogether. Like ice fishing in Siberia.

I remember packages of Kraft cheddar being labelled “The Big Cheese”. I haven’ seen any in the stores for years.
