This is my all-time favorite version of Fritzi.
So the subtle joke is that the plants in the window box can actually understand what Fritzi is saying? The plants wilt when Fritzi plots to kill the plants, but they bloom up again when Fritzi thinks to let them be.
I recently listened to an Adam Conover podcast on the subject of plants having intelligence. This comic strip confirms it’s true.
Fritzi sees dead plants, even when they are alive
