I can’t imagine trying to keep one’s house clean from cat hair if one has more than one or two. We had a dog that was shedding non stop, and we had to vacuum pretty well every second day as the hair ended up along the baseboards every minute of the day. We brushed her every day. Thankfully, she loved being brushed.

I remember reading letters to Dear Ann Landers, years and years ago about people wanting to know how to tell their friends that they don’t visit them because their house smells awful because of cats. Ann Landers said: you don’t tell them, but you can give them air freshners as a gift, or just meet and have a coffee at McD’s instead of visiting them at their house.
