He should have ordered a day ahead and he wouldn’t be in this problem. Or he could pick out a cake in the refrigerator that bakeries have.

A large flat one, with room for a case of candles. None of this one big candle thing for me. Smoke detectors at the ready. Flame on!

Simple: one two layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing, one big candle, for the hundred, and 5 little candles for the five years.

What a moron, Order the cake in plenty of time, just don’t have them put Happy Birthday on it until you get ready to pick it up. That way no matter what happens the cake is good to go.

…and if she doesn’t make it to 105, well, more cake for him!

Today is President Kennedy’s birthday. He would have been 107.

I can understand why he didn’t order it ahead of time, he was surprised she made it far.
