I refer to coffee as my vitamin C. Whether the C stands for “Coffee” or “Caffeine” depends on the time of day. AM, Vitamin C is for “Caffeine”, PM, its for “Coffee”.
You got that right girl. You need that to start up. And quoting the great philosopher,Mick Jagger, " lf you start me up, start me up, I’ll never stop". Go coffee go…..
Having mine right now. Scandinavians are some of the biggest coffee drinkers in the world. There was a pot always on when I was a kid, every waking hour.
I’m with you Gladys. And add lunch, mid-afternoon pick me up and post dinner refresher. I’ve never had trouble sleeping even with an evening coffee. And latest research shows tons of health benefits from coffee! Drink up!
I don’t even keep coffee in my home for guests. I grew up with parents who drank coffee – different kinds – all day from morning until night. My ex drank coffee from morning until night. My now-adult child – ditto. I never had any interest in joining them. I just don’t get the attraction to it. I am happy that I live now in a home with no coffee drinkers. I am weird, right?

“The breakfast of champions” was the catch phrase of some product whose name I don’t remember in the 70es or 80es.

My champion breakfast used to be a little Debbie brownie, and a can of Pepsi. I miss those days.

Though I had hot coffee today, I usually have hot tea on all other mornings. With sugar and lemon it very tasty and much cheaper.
