This is in the fine tradition of Snoopy trying to stand up to the encroachment of a new freeway upon his doghouse – when Linus, prepping him for the event, shouted, “HERE COME THE BULLDOZERS!”, Snoopy vanishes into his doghouse, and, after a beat, concludes, “Woof!” Just when Schulz had half-humanized him, too…
