Have you ever experienced something like that?

Oh yes. At my niece’s wedding I didn’t recognize my elder (now late) brother – he looked like in his late 80s at least but was only 66!

I listen to old radio shows. Often, there is someone who sounds like the old grizzled prospector in The Treasure of Sierra Madre. Someone says “how old are you, old timer?” and he’ll say “60”.

My younger brother is 3 and a half years younger than myself. Older sister is 4 years older than I am. I am soon to be 64. I look maybe 45ish. Both of my sibs look to be in the late 70s.

I get this all the time, I’m 69 and people think I about 50, not that I’m complaining, you just get used to it but really riles me up is when they card me, I’m like What? Really? I know I don’t look that young.

    I wouldn’t recognize anybody I babysat, either.

I actually get that a lot…bought some paint a few days ago and as the guy hands it to me he says “here you go young man!”… I was easily 20 years older than him…but I’m not offended by any means… quite the opposite! (it must be the vitamins!)

I don’t know why he would be agitated, he’s aged well by comparison.
