I read that W.C. Fields used the exclamation “Godfrey Daniels!” in his films, because it was the closest the studio censors would let him come to saying “G** D***!” (I won’t try to spell it out here.)
I want to know if Samson really wrote a word in those spots and then colored over it with the red, or if he just put the red scribble blocks in those places.
On network TV talk shows, they now not only bleep out the sounds of certain words but also blur the mouths of the people saying them.
It was interesting when the actors on the show Schitt’s Creek appeared on Stephen Colbert’s show. The network couldn’t bleep out the name of a show it wanted to promote, so every time an actor said the show’s name, the show’s logo was superimposed on the screen.
I remember learning in high school biology that horses’ hooves are actually the middle digit of each limb—the other digits having evolved to mere vestigial bumps on the lower leg.
So if Horace just raises a hoof, he’s automatically giving the middle finger.

For using such language, he will be darned to eternal annoyance in the domain of Heck, presided over by Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light.
