Blorgon’s gleknyphx is always falling out of his fzknzpl. He’s been lucky so far with people turning it in.

Regarding panel 4, I just ordered one of those “thing a majigs” from Amazon. Works great! Allows me to travel FTL across space!

My uncle Phil used to work, making gland nuts, at the Gleknyphx plant in Glendale. But they closed down, moved to Greenland.

The famous Border collie Chaser was able to work that out. If shown a basket of objects for which she knew the names of all but one, and then told to select the [word she didn’t know], she was able to work out that the unfamiliar word must refer to the unfamiliar object.

I wonder what the alien would have done if that wasn’t what he asked for?

There is a dog who knows the name of 200 toys. A new toy was introduced into his pile, while he was in another room. Later, the dog was told to get it by a name he had never heard before. The dog was able to use the exclusion principle and bring the new toy. This is a remarkably high level of intelligence in an animal. It’s good to know Monty rises to this standard. :)
