Sounds like Gladys is into a new diet fad. It helps you lose weight by killing your appetite it’s also long lasting by lacerating your esophagus.

But Brutus – Eggshells add good Fertilizer and helps keep acidity in check. Maybe even helps clean teeth. Un Huh. But not the whole boiled egg still in shell Glady’s. Oh, how we reap what we sow.

Truly hilarious the first frame alone almost gave me a coffee spit take! Gladys was just trying a recipe she got from the diner!

I’m not much of an egg person. They’re okay, but I haven’t fully developed an appreciation for them. The Philly Steak omelet at IHOP is pretty good, though.

No there are not unless you have some vitamin/mineral deficiency. I’m sure it was just an oversight on the part of Gladys. He, who is without sin, (Or in this case one who has never made a mistake cooking) cast the first stone/complaint. Sounds appropriate unless there is more to the story……

Egg salad with the shells included sounds like something Grizelda the Ghastly Gourmet from The Hilarious House of Frightenstein (syndicated kids’ TV show from the early 1970s which starred, among others, Vincent Price) would have whipped up.
