The Summer Solstice begins on June 21st. Time for the summer wardrobe including shorts.

and sandals with white socks…in FL we referred to them as white-chested shell-pickers.

If the air conditioning costs too much, since they are on a sailing ship, couldn’t they just set sail up north into the Arctic Ocean? Don’t need an air conditioner up there. And the crew actually likes some snow and ice around since they never sail south in the winter either.

It’s going to be very hot next week.

I’m a big nate fan, but I’m with Henry on this. Nate needs to dress for the temps. Short pants and short sleeve shirt are in order. During the late spring and summer, I wear very little and use the AC very little, too.

Thank goodness climate change cannot be meaningfully changed by individual choices, and must be slowed by the industrial-level polluters instead.

Which means the power plant that provides electricity to your AC needs to switch to something that doesn’t spew so much CO2 into the air. THEN you can turn the AC on to your heart’s content (assuming it’s not using freon anymore…..)

I guess they don’t have a roommate agreement? Oh wait! This isn’t The Big Bang Theory, is it? Never mind. ;-)
