The International Criminal Court, based in The Hague, Netherlands, tries the gravest crimes, ensuring victims have access to justice, conducts fair trials and complements national tribunals.

Enforcement of their decisions is pretty much dependent on the voluntary cooperation of other governments.

Their superpower is morality, and they have never been proven wrong.

Joe above, it would involve a revolving door and full time sitting covering all of USA’s crimes. Guantanamo for starters, then gunning down civilians as exposed by Julian Assange.

As accessories. Of course, that charge could be extended to the US establishment as a whole.

We can hope that their issuing such an order will finally make the JCS say “No.” and take them into custody instead, to be delivered to the ICC.

A military coup would confirm the US as having a failed government, but it might also provide the shock we collectively need and Jefferson foresaw.

Republican senators are useless fools. They need to be replaced by a blue tsunami in November. Same for House Republicans, particularly idiots like Gym Jordan, Marjorie Traitor Greene, Boebert, Comer, Gaetz, and the entire freedumb caucus.

I usually find myself agreeing with Ted Rall, certainly more often than not. And this is no exception. Netanyahu created this whole crisis in an effort to avoid arrest for corruption. The deaths of tens of thousands means nothing to Bibi if he stays out of jail. The current Republican Senators care against charging the people in power with whatever crimes they commit! Many, many former Republican Senators are rolling over in their graves! “Laws don’t apply to powerful people!” say the GOP members of Government!

republicons support the genocide and there’s barely a blip on the radar. Biden doesn’t oppose it hard enough and it’s top story for weeks. Hmmmm.

I wonder whether more USAins would get off their bums and start putting on the pressure if we had more news about the cats and dogs of Palestine.

They are at least as grossly victimised as the humans are. Yet they continue to play with the human children and momentarily provide respite from the horrors.

The Palestinians are more secular, I think, than most other Muslimun: they not only tolerate and are impersonally kind to dogs, as Muhammad (saaws) enjoined them to be, many actually love and support the bow-wows as members of their families.

And of course, the traditional relationship of Muhammad to cats means that cats usually fare very well among Muslims.

Before he was decapitated by the latest Zionist atrocity in Rafah (his family couldn’t find his head, so they were forced to bury him without it) the toddler Ahmad al-Najjar was remembered, with tears, by his surviving older brothers as loving to play with the cats who came to the family for food and shelter.

The only care operation that currently exists, Sulala Animal Rescue, was started informally in 2006 by Saeed al-Err but is now authorised by what government remains. His whole family (spouse and 8 kids) is committed to the work. The younger kids are “in charge of” the cats: “They feed them, clean after them and especially, they play with them.”

    A psychopath’s “reasoning”

“If someone thinks it is possible to supply such weapons to a war zone to attack our territory and create problems for us, why don’t we have the right to supply our weapons,” Putin told a press conference in St Petersburg.

Countries are supplying Ukraina with weapons to strike at Russia. Ukraina is getting the weapons because Putin attacked and has notionally stolen parts of Ukraina.

The relationship is that C-Z are supplying B with weapons it can use to defend against A, which attacked it.

The US is C (let’s say) and other weapon-supplying countries are represented by other letters.

To Putin:Russia is C’, claiming the right to supply weapons to B’ which was attacked by A’. But which countries are A’ and B’? As far as I’m aware, they don’t exist.
