I’m sure Janis will have a fun day but I’d go with Arlo to learn what’s really happening.

Arlo, don’t bust her bubble yet.

I don’t know… Janis working at the deli… that’s a slippery slope for Arlo to turn into Dagwood.

Maybe this is all a dream? A really bad dream.

This isn’t looking good. Move from their friends, their support (doctors, dentists, credit unions, etc), and now becoming a subordinate to her daughter in law.

Could it work out? Sure, and Janis could win the jackpot in the lottery too.

Methinks I smell a “winding down” – Is the strip coming to a close … ?

Janis actually worked there every time they visited.

Do they use “the ropes” to tie things up? Or to tie things down?

Arlo, always find a ‘Native Guide’. Gus is your best choice.

Strange timing… I have a job interview in ten minutes! One of many, I suspect.

Gus is a pessimist!

Rather than spending golden years together doing relaxing and pleasurable things, Janis will have a new job, and Arlo will turn into Gus.

Does Arlo think Mary Lou is lying about the deli job? Or lying about something else? Why would Gus need to tell Arlo the truth about the situation?

It is now over two weeks later. I have not heard a report from Arlo about meeting with Gus.
