I always broke the treats in pieces because ours were very small dogs. One time I gave a friend’s dog a treat and broke it in half. She ate it and then turned to go. I called her back and gave her the other half, and she was over-the-moon happy. Her “mom” said she wasn’t used to getting two! Ours usually get 4 or 5, but it’s all pieces of the same treat. Sometimes, two of them would share one treat, all broken in small bites.

How about minimum wag?

My pup goes by number of pieces, not amount, hence a medium sized treat broken in 3 equals 3 treats.

Maybe the treats have to last until grocery day.

…so do I. What’s your point? At least you get treats.

You’ll get a full treat just as soon as your people go to the store and buy you some diet treats.

That dog is already getting too much to eat.

Wrong. Minimum wage for a dog is a pat on the head and a “good dog”.
