If one is to avoid something, best to avoid it right.

From the adult angle, having just done the long overdue garage cleaning, it is remarkably satisfying but do pick a relatively cool period. And, if you are lacking young people of your own, hire a few friends kids + rent a dumpster.

The heat wave this week has been pretty good, and so far I haven’t got soaked in any of the storms

Good morning y’all! Don’t you just HATE cleaning the garage!?!

Actually, August used to be a good month for reading lists, but now September seems to be competing for hottest month.

I thought about cleaning my garage of its 40 year old collection of stuff. Then I decided it would be easier just to get anyone who wants to come in to sign an insurance waiver.

If he’s looking for a heatwave to get reading, he couldn’t pick a better time than NOW!!

This is why you never say you’re bored!

This next seven days is starting to look like a good candidate for the worst week. Until next seven days. Or August. That will be a load of laughs here in the Midwest.

I must be some kind of weirdo. My garage and my workshop are always clean. I’ll let either one go messy for a day or two, two weeks max, while I’m working on a project. But then as soon as I have spare time, I clean things up. The time you waste looking for stuff in a messy place… plus I like there to be some room for my car in my garage.

I am thinking that will be the middle of July.

It doesn’t occur to Caulfield that perhaps the week was nice because he was reading!
