Never as good as one rememberers it. Especially if one doesn’t allow thankfulness during the course of current events.

I’m still waiting for my ‘good ol’ days’ to pass me by.

They sure were good! And old!!

I felt like that as a teenager in the 80’s. It was like having to clean up after somebody else’s party.

In fifty years this will be the “Good old days”.
