OUCH!!! Those retractable leashes can be dangerous. One of the grandkids got a fat lip whilst playing with one. Doggy darling now wears a cross body leash on walks. Much safer.
This is one of the multitude of reasons that I don’t like and would never use retractable leads!
Use the tearless. I’ll take care of the tears.
