They enjoyed the journey so that’s good.

The animals would have been more than happy to lick all the kids clean of freezie juice had they ever gotten there.

The only memory I have from preschool field trips is stopping for donuts once.

Miss Bliss is, no doubt, relating her version of the day to Timmy Fretwork… over a couple of stiff drinks.

So THIS is why Mr Danders was brought into the class – as a therapeutic measure to make sure the kids got acclimated to “safe” animals to offset being traumatized by attempting to go to a place with animals.

Nice to know they had a good time. A Freezie sounds good right now.

Petting zoo or not, there was plenty of zoo in the adventure.

Had Miss Bliss ever been to this petting zoo before?

I called it! I knew they wouldn’t make it. But I’m glad they got freezies and enjoyed the journey. Miss Bliss is probably taking a couple aspirin and went to lay down.

When we were kids, my mom (and probably others) assured us that the good part at the end of the birthing process instantly makes the previous difficulties/anguish into a dim memory. Presumably the same is true of the parenting process which immediately follows.
