Perhaps instead of OSV, Yoda’s just fronting the topic. In that case, “A Jedi craves not these things” could just mean that “a Jedi” is the topic as well as the subject.

German sentence structure usually ends with the verb. It’s one of the hardest things about the language.
Mark Twain said he tried to read a German trilogy but couldn’t get through it. All the verbs were in the third book. :)
