I think Skeez was a little too young for even the short pants when he was small enough to carry in the greatest fictional collector’s item in the history of comic strips.

    - – - -

A full classics update for the 22nd, and not a cat in the lot:

Avery looks to make some reductions around the Blimp household, and Emily has her part to play.

Once coming around the morning after, Clarion begins to tell Rick the sordid tale that left him face down in the dusty streets of some tiny town in Montana.

Brenda’s queasiness isn’t helped any by an extended lecture from Mr. Livwright.

The bunnies leave, so Slim decides to watch a little TV, when Stubbs drops by the storage room to harangue him. In the last panel I look at the smile on The Kid’s face, and think it’s a Gasoline Alley/Perry Bible Fellowship crossover event.

Way back in the beginning Walt had a Black housekeeper. Is Gertie family? I just thought about that.

It’s great that Walt is remembering Skeezix – maybe he will dream about the good old days!
