There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself, nor is there anything wrong about answering yourself, but when you find yourself asking yourself to repeat what you just said because you weren’t listening to yourself, then you need help.
The number one question I always ask myself… “Let’s see, now what did I come in here for?” The answer is always invariably the same… “Oh yeah, now I remember.”
sometimes when I talk to myself my family mistakes me talking to them… course some of my family members are having hearing problems, even the ones without hearing aids… :J
If I’m feeling a little down. I can re-read a few days of Brutus The Born Loser and I feel much better. Poor feller seldom has an upper day bwt work and home. He’s got a little of his Uncle Ted adage.
Obviously the 3 of him have such a difficult time understanding each other that he honestly can’t tell her which one was talking. And adding Gladys to the mix would completely blow up the delicate balance.
I think our Born Loser has invented new words. “Myselves” and “himselves.” There probably should be a “herselves” too, in case Gladys talks to she, her, herself.
