When I was a kid, I watched Lost In Space and remember the episode with John Robinson flying the “Bell Rocket Belt”. I figured we’d all have them by now. Disappointing. (As I understand it, you could only get about a minute or less of flight with those. It might have even more like 30 seconds. )
