Peppermint Patty is nuts!

Things are about to get a little wild.

It’s going to be a ruff night.

Typical Peppermint Patty: she creates a situation and then forces someone else to resolve it. I’m surprised Charlie Brown is the one who doesn’t have any friends.

I don’t think Peppermint Patty would need the protection, if anything a prowler would need protection from her.

Did anyone sign anything? Is there a legally binding contract? No? Then Chuck is one blockhead who is going to stay in bed.

I had an acquaintance once, who was a dentist. She was notoriously cheap. For instance, she bought a computer system for her business because it was the lowest priced system among all the ones she was considering. When it crashed, as it did on several occasions, she would bagger me to come and fix it. “You have to come a fix it, ITS MY BUSINESS!!!” She would yell into the phone. Just like Peppermint Patty. Trying to convince me her emergency was my problem.

Come on, CB. Don’t give in like that! Peppermint Patter should’ve learned her lesson from the last time Snoopy watched her house!

Peppermint Patty contracted with Snoopy directly. Charlie Brown should be a disinterested (and uninterested) party.

Chuck should simply hang up and then unplug the phone from the jack.

PP isn’t concerned about poor Snoopy out there protecting her sandal waring arss, he could be hurt, bleeding in a ditch somewhere?

This bodes poorly for Chuck’s future. Then again, it wasn’t exactly rainbows and sunshine before.

Well, the last time this arc was published Snoopy was

Don’t blame this on Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty. You’re the one who wanted Snoopy to be your watchdog in the first place and left him outside.

Good grief.

I love the portrayal of method acting that Chuck used in the fourth panel by trying to really get into playing the part of Snoopy the watchdog.

I think Patti would make a better watchdog than CB. She’s much tougher.

Man, what an anti-angle Patty is. We know she’s Miss Athlete and manager extraordinaire, and I guess she rules with an iron hand. It’s time for Charlie to hang up the phone.

I thought P.P. was tougher, not a fraidy cat.

I realize this is just a comic, but shouldn’t her DAD be responsible for her well being, and not Charlie or Snoopy?
