I’ll never understand why Spiderman has super-strength. Spiders aren’t especially strong.

I see we’re still in the 2019 comics. Didn’t think it would get carried this far. That’s okay, most of us don’t remember back 5 years. (Anymore, I’m lucky if I can remember back 5 minutes, ha!)

(pushes glasses up nose) Actually, the quote is “With great power, there must also come great responsibility.” And Uncle Ben didn’t say this – it was just the narrator in Amazing Fantasy #15 who said this line. It wasn’t until the 1980s that Marvel created a retcon attributing this line to Uncle Ben.

I have a video I took of an ant dragging a dead bumble bee. It had to go through a couple of dead leaves and around pebbles. Intrepid.

I believe that quote is attributed to Voltaire. Uncle Ben misapproriated it.
