‘Everything is a scam!’ Trump ridiculed after pics of Black church event show white crowd

Donald Trump was ridiculed Saturday after attending what his campaign called a Black roundtable at a Detroit church — with photos showing a largely white audience.

The evangelical church is in the heart of Detroit’s west side and has a mainly Black congregation.

But photos caught by the media, and shared widely online, showed a lot of white people in the audience.

“It’s all lies, smoke, and mirrors,” wrote Jeff Timmer a Republican and senior adviser at the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, on X.

Jeffrey Evan Gold, a frequent legal analyst on networks including CNN and ABC, wrote, “MAGA whites in the hood for Trump."

And Ben Meiselas, the co-founder of the progressive Meidas Touch, wrote, “Everything is a scam!!!!”

Really? I’ll have to check with the one I know. Just kidding, but I do wonder about under-representation. I’ve found a consistent reluctance to respond to polls or engage in any type of public survey. This tends to breakdown along class lines with the upper classes more willing to engage.

I wonder if they’ll grill him. Only with questions, of course. Pointed. Questions.

QUESTION for Lester – are you UNINFORMED or do you assume others are? The “black church” only had white people that were NOT appropriately dressed for church, wearing MAGA hats and shorts (and there weren’t very many).

The left are again in spin mode trying to downplay President Trumps outreach to the black community.

“ Pastor Lorenzo Sewell of 180 Church told Reuters he initially thought he was being pranked when the Trump campaign reached out to him. However, he welcomed the opportunity, stating, “People that are disenfranchised, pushed aside, and marginalized typically don’t have a voice at the table,” Sewell said.”

There were a lot of white people as the event was advertised so naturally many white Trump supporters showed up. I also saw pictures with a lot Asians, Hispanics as well as blacks in attendance. Unlike cherry picked photos I reviewed dozens of shots and a couple of videos showing an eclectic crowd with a healthy mixture of all ethnicities. It was held on a Saturday, not during Sunday services so many people dressed casually.

I wonder why trying to push the false narrative that college educated white guys (like me) will vote for the orange clown is not happening? If you’re going to throw the proverbial spaghetti at the wall, why not give it a try?

“You got Donald Trump in Detroit talking to 8,000 people at a Black church,” Conway boasted to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.

That’s how MAGA measures support among various groups. Just make up numbers and hope no one pays attention.

Did the orange baboon leave any space to slobber down some watermelon after gorging himself with all that fried chicken?
