The thing I really like about Nancy’s comics is that it’s not just heads and dialogue. There’s always so much going on with the characters and in the background. Very difficult to do effectively in such a small space. Wonderful stuff.
I went to Disappearing Camp. Every day the Girl Scout leaders assigned chores. First day I was assigned Latrine duty. I disappeared after the first day as soon as roll was called and returned in time to get on the bus to go home.

I would be on the ground if I tried either the stilts or balance board. LaVa looks so relaxed and confident on the board.

She’s gotta mean Hobbes! I like how Kate fell but is calmly sitting there smiling!

Thanks, Nancy, for bringing up memories of the Bongo Board and stilts. Those are some good childhood memories. I am looking forward to the camp days.
