    It does seem a little weird that women are expected to do that. I’m a guy, so not only don’t I shave my underarms, it’s never OCCURRED to me to shave my underarms. I would hate having to do that.

    It’s a cultural thing. Women in many countries wouldn’t think of shaving any part of their body.

    I just waited until the inherited genes from my granny kicked in, and voila, at about 50, all of my body hair disappeared. No more razors or Nair or agonizing over such things. The natural exfoliation was complete, including, sadly, my eyebrows, I am not a fan of how I look in that regard. None of the women in my family have managed to keep body hair past age 55.

    Tween guys shave regularly. Not necessarily because it’s needed. But they have hopes and dreams.
