I think Nancy set a new world record with that hair!

Did not see that coming.

I wanted the last panel to be Nancy’s face as an infinitesimal dot in a panel of hair.

Oh my stars…

Here is the instant of the closest approach of the hyperbola of the grand arcs of Nancy to the asymptotes that define the grid-edges of the comic strip panel… at least, as far as is possible to depict such a moment in a two-dimensional medium in a three-dimensional world. It may not be the apotheosis of Nancy-ness, but it’s almost there.

It would be an exaggeration to suggest that this is the perfect Nancy moment… but I cannot imagine a fourth-dimensional vantage point from which to read comic strips.

…and garters.

So does a large butt make you more devilish?

I don’t know about god, but it is a good look.

Nancy is such a tease.

In the ‘80s we called it “big hair, big dreams”. I, fortunately, was a banker at a conservative bank in those days, so don’t have a photo album full of embarrassing pics, unlike some of my girlfriends. My pal Ellen was 5’3" soaking wet, but almost 5’10" when her hair was at it’s permed glory.

The higher the hair, the sooner Fritzi drags Nancy to the hairdresser to have it cut off.

I remember the postiche era and wigs.
