Actually, they have been there but many years earlier in the history of this strip. Ginger probably forgets most of what he “learned” at school by the time he gets home.
One of the first Time Travel stories I was “The Time Machine” by H.G. Wells. I wondered what would be the results of me traveling into the far future. Too much of a potential that the Human Species is extinct – Peace on Earth.
Oh, oh! Wasn’t Prof. Canehard name in the 1920s precisely because of the way kids were punished back then…. I see trouble, painful trouble, in Ginger and Benny’s future or should I say past.
