HA so relateable. You run away from the cold hands, then you get sunburnt, then you regret it and do it again.

Mom knows all about buttered-up seals.

This strip is easily the best one on gocomics, even comparing to legends such a Calvin and Hobbes. The art and detail is stunning and it makes me laugh the most out of any strip. Well done Will, well done.

Why is it cold? Why is that bad? I think it would feel great.

Wallace, if you knew about all the skin cancers I’ve had removed, you’d wear the sunscreen.

I can see her chasing a seal – with a club – on Canada day.

Wallace’s expression in panel two is hilarious!

Dad can tell Wallace, “If you think her HANDS are cold…”

Still chuckling after LOLing for a whole minute – guess Mom knows what a buttered-up seal feels like!

Sometimes you can see the family resemblance between Wallace and Sterling.

I remember it well the day my child could outrun me.

Does Mom keep the sunscreen in the refrigerator?

Who puts butter on seals? Butter is for lobsters.

Catch and release! First catch him, then butter him up, and release. No warnings!

Dad cracks me up: just leanin’ on the rail with his coffee… “yup, that looked hard…”

Here in the south, it’s “like trying to catch a greased pig” but “trying to catch a buttered-up seal” is appropriate for where they live.

That Should be an Olympic sport by now.

The key is a sunscreen quick-slather sneak attack ;)

Maybe he’s got enough – if you can’t hold onto him, he’s slathered pretty good already?

On a hot summer afternoon you would think colder the better.

I would assume parents apply sunscreen to their kids inside the house. But this is a cartoon drama for Wallace’s mama after all. :)

Note to R&D Dept.: come up with sunscreen that can be applied with a Super Soaker™…

Catching one shouldn’t be all that difficult, it’s hanging on that’s a problem.

Appears he’s already burnt, or those hands wouldn’t feel so cold.
