Technically, wouldn’t the baby blanket belong to Sherman’s mother as she would have bought it in the first place?

Sherman needs to try selling on ebay, he’ll make way more money for anything than at any yard sale.

Donate to a good charity and take the highest value allowed on your taxes. Great way to clean out that unused stuff.
