Every time the moderator turns to Trump and asks him a question or invites him to respond to something Biden said, Trump will begin a word salad excursion of one incomplete sentence following another, then another, then another — with little if any correlation to the subject he is supposed to address.

The moderator, or whomever is in charge of activating and de-activating Trump’s microphone, will be in the position of not appearing to censor these rambling jaunts through his mental locker of un-filed bits and pieces of portions of random and totally disorganized information from decades of scarce moments when he focused enough on what was being said to him to formulate incomplete memories of interactions with others whose task it is to inform him.

At some point after Trump sets off with each disjointed facsimile of actual focused discourse, the microphone manager will be forced to turn off the mic to enable an attempt at “Earth to Trump, Earth to Trump, Come in Trump” from the moderator, who will wait for Trumps lips to stop moving and then try to get Trump to focus & reply specifically only to the question or request he was originally given the opportunity to engage with.

Soon the mic at Trump’s podium will again be restored to active status, and away will go The Former Guy once again on another of his typical disjointed rambles — compelling yet once more another mic shut down.

10 or 15 minutes of this later, Trump will BELLOW how unfairly he is being treated, the obvious favoritism being accorded the President, “liberal fake news mainstream media bias for Biden taking place RIGHT HERE AND NOW,” for the country to see and experience first hand, and then he will stomp off to a prearranged location outside the venue for a “spontaneous” news conference where a gaggle of conservative media will offer him “questions” scripted to elicit responses from past Trump public discourse packed with non-factual ranting and raving his conservative audience craves.

Preparing the “Stable Genius” for a debate has got to be a frustrating experience.
