The Iranian Mullahs would also love to set the world ablaze, all in praise of Allah.

Iran, Gaza, Ukraine, the Koreas, India and Pakistan. All with at least one side possessing nukes and seemingly leaders who aren’t all there. They seem to be trying to outdo each other in their insanity.

One striking difference between US and Russian thinking: we believe that almost any use of nuclear weapons will result in widespread destruction and chaos, possibly mutually assured destruction. The Russians believe a nuclear war could be “winnable.”

Don’t say Russians plural; I doubt anyone but Putin thinks that way. He has backed himself into a major corner and ego will not let him retreat. Same result as would happen with our golden wonder boy.

I think the likelihood of Putin (and Trump) deploying (or at least attempting to deploy) their nation’s nuclear arsenals, if confronted with ultimate failure directly attributable to an outcome of their policy agendas, is at minimum a 50% certainty.

I think the likelihood of Kim deploying any nukes he has control over, for any whim of a “reason”, is a certainty far closer to 100%.

I could see a President Trump trying to bait Kim into a nuclear launch just so he, President Trump, could order a retaliatory strike of far greater scale, making him an historical Big Man of war. “This is what happens when somebody tries to take on Trump!” he’ll gloat immediately after the strike, chest puffed up as far as he is capable of (but still just a fraction of the girth of his waist).

“We have all these nuclear weapons. Why can’t we use them?” — Genius, who is also very, very stable.

This political cartoon shows the 2 of them getting blown up together by their own bomb.

I took a second look and noticed the shadow. It was one of the most eloquent statements I’ve seen in a cartoon.
