Now remember Paul, to get all that best quality you also need a better quality TV and sound system to reproduce all that quality.

As far as TV goes I am ok until a commercial, then I tone it out and next thing I know the program is over!

Late 90’s worked as s tech in a TV electronics store. Had people buy a surround sound system, play old movies on dvd and complain the rear speakers not working

Yep, this is definitely from the late-90s/early-2000s.

We have a DVD player. It gets used once a year at Christmas to watch our favorite holiday movies.

Just think. In another ten years, they’ll be getting a blu-ray player!
