I never understood sleepaway camp. It’s just for the parents to dump their kids. I just read a FB post from parents that sent their kid to camp and they flew to Disney. The day they got there, the camp called and said their kid had a fever and they had to come get him. Ooops.
That almost always happens. 1 week is never enough. A couple of days to rest, time to plan something to do, and then time preparing for their eventual return.
