My wife tends to drive on a wing and a prayer. To be fair, some of it was my fault as I didn’t keep a closer eye on the oil levels in her car, but she also didn’t bother to tell me that the oil warning light had been on for weeks. This also happened before everyone had mobile phones, so the first I found out about it was a call from a stranger’s mobile to tell me that my wife had broken down. When I got to her, I found that the car had so little oil in it that the whole engine had seized. I towed her back home and had to order in a new engine. A friend and I then spent a day fitting it back in again. Fun times.

Anymore it’s a 2nd mortgage call. My mechanic charges 200.00 an hour, he goes by book time-but it’s still 200/hour.
