It’s become clear to me that if the US were a person, they’d be schizophrenic for sure, maybe other kinds of crazy too.

This is one of the points of discord for sure. I completely fail to understand how anyone… sane… can call for MORE guns and LESS regulation… and those who do make those calls fail to understand my point entirely.

The arguments they use are spurious. Everybody carrying a weapon ostensibly for “self-defense” just makes a whole population of potential criminal shooters… just one bad or misjudged situation and somebody is dead… and it happens over and over in red and blue cities all over. And contrary to their argument, Democrats don’t want to “take your guns” (or at least realize the impossibility of that). All we want is people who DO have them to be vetted and trained.

“But it’s in the Constitution, it’s in the Constitution!!!” Okay, let them have muskets, not weapons of war.

Funny how so many of the “cold dead hands” that happen around guns are unarmed innocent people.

Being a member of the NRA doesn’t make one any more capable of safely owning weapons than taking a first aid class makes one a surgeon.

A handgun is a perfectly logical weapon for self-defense.

A rifle is a perfectly logical weapon for hunting or taking care of vermin that are attacking your livestock.

An AR-15 is a perfectly logical weapon for mass murder. What other purpose does it have?

GOP – property rights over people’s rights. A gun is property. A gun can, and according to Trump, should be used to protect your property like a candy bar in the hands of a fleeing 10-year-old.

If guns are so safe why are they banned from republican’t and nra events? Why do state and local governments pull school resource officers from schools to work security at those events?

Someone said Live and Let Live to him. First thing he thought of. The wife, kids, pets, neighbors, community, region, state, America, not a thought.

The red hats need their guns to over throw the USA when Trump loses again.

Isn’t it something that so many of our citizens love their guns, including bump stocks, more than they love our children who are the future of this country. Shameful. Like an alcoholic who loves booze more than his/her health and family.

cops show up at the scene and everyone has guns out who gets shot first? Teacher tries to stop someone and misses and kills a child, who looses? People who are not trained to war standards are dangerious to others and some trained to war standards still make mistakes that are costly.

About flipping time! Had a gun put to my head in a robbery and was sweating tears, I couldn’t nail the combo and his hand was shaking the whole time.

These are the same gov’t officials who told you to get shot after shot after shot…of ‘safe and effective vaccine’ …and masks…and six feet apart.
