My qats do not stoop to spoken language. They stare or glare (all thru halfshut eyes), and/or present their butts as a final statement while they exit with the totally dignified grace of…. a qat.
My new cat 5 days in, all comfortable and is the boss. He’s the done whacka whacka with his paw today. I have two little holes in my wrist. But I’m having fun with him.

Merf is a popular word in my house. Usually used as an exclamation of jumping down from a tall height. A bit like TA DAAAAAA!

Talented qat.
A friend’s cats said Mekarooch and Chirrup. A family cat years ago would say Tuna.

My little Black and White, AKA Tuxedo, approves of this strip. I have three versions of this on my refrigerator.

My cat uses WACKAWACKA all the time. It’s the sound she makes by swatting my hand in rapid succession when I play with her!

Ours is cat of many words when traveling by car but keeps to the silent meow or “Mack!” the rest of the time.
