Mom was a shrewd saver. Her sons’ hand-me-downs were going to be just fine for her daughter.

It was clear from an early age that Marilyn was going to be the black sheep of the family.

Originally it was the Hendersons who were supposed to be roaming the halls of the Overlook Hotel in “The Shining”, but test audiences found them far too terrifying so a pair of twin girls got the part.

In later years these kids got jobs in Robert Palmer vodeos.

They live out on Mockingbird Lane.

Continuing my tangential comments about how unrealistically small feet are in many of these paintings: notice that the feet of the two children on the left are LARGER than the mother’s.

Dad remembers when he was a kid/

Fighting hard on the streets of Madrid/

But what Daddy cannot foresee/
