NATIONAL ALASKA DAY

NATIONAL INSURANCE AWARENESS DAY

The last day of my 5 day vacation (sob!). I got a lot done in my garden over the past 4 days, but plan on relaxing and taking it easy today (besides, they’re predicting rain again). I also found some time for writing my book and I think it’s nearly done. Then I need to proofread again and then I send it to my publisher to see what she thinks of it. I hope she likes it!

Nobody gets out of vet time. They can run and hide or glue themselves to the floor, but the trip to the vet WILL happen.

Our last cat, Shellie, seemed to know when I called our vet for nail trimming. She would hide under a large double bed.

I celebrate June 28th, 1997, as the birthdate of my Dale and Kristen. Miss those big, beautiful girls (half Maine C o o n s) so much.
