Whatever it looked like in this debate, I’m sticking by Joe! Thus-far he has made me proud to be an American once again. It has required a great amount of know-how, wisdom, character and the ability to pick good people to work in his administration. Through this administration, we have come back from the brink of disaster. Now we need to continue forward and lock up CONVICTED CRIMINAL #45 for as long as possible!!!!!

That’s what happens when you look for a president at a place run by people selling ads. Grandstanding and circus ringmaster qualities is not what you want for that job. The orange gaslighting is proof enough.

Gotta give credit to the moderators. Did a decent job. But Biden was a disaster. His opening statement makes me wonder if he was on crank. Sounded like he wanted to dump all the one liners the 16 advisors had pumped into him this past week. And Trump was pretty much Trump.

And no way Biden is a 6 handicap. Where did that come from? Should have stuck with the cannibal story. More believable.

Decades ago, some people had enough flamboyant persuasive ability to sell unneeded goods — e.g. encyclopedias — to families that could not afford them … while others — with a conscience that overrode/dulled their persuasive skills — were unable to hurt others for self-gain. This election reminds me of these types of people.

I’m still gonna vote for the one who loves his country and will defend our democracy, Joe Biden, not the convicted felon who lies, cheats, lusts after his own daughter and beauty pageant contestants, on his third wife and will eventually find himself in front of at least three more courts.

Now my beef is with the two political parties, the DNC and the RNC. They have gerrymandered and politicized and created laws and rules and regulations that prevent other parties from developing while THIS IS THEIR BEST?!?!?

After 2024 I’m going to do all I can do to create more independent political parties, I don’t have to agree with them, I just want them to be viable and participating.

In 2024, I will vote for ANYBODY BUT TRUMP.

Joe was over prepped. He would have been far better off coming up with general positions instead of trying to get a full complicated response into 2 minutes. AND.. respond back to trump with.. there you go again lying. Where do you get your facts, from Fox News? Still, it did prove Joe was not on enhancing drugs, another lie spread by trumps team.

That was not a debate by any stretch of the meaning. Trump avoided answering so many questions by focusing on Biden’s responses and simply lying, as usual, to make himself look good. When he said he had a big heart I nearly choked to death laughing.

If you are excited about the upcoming election then you have not been paying attention. Our realistic choices are an 80+ year old career politician who is in clear cognitive decline and a soon to be 80 year old angry guy who’s primary focus will be revenge.

We (America) needs better options than this.

I am deeply troubled by last night’s debate, and my heart aches for President Biden. The situation demands urgent action. He must step down and allow for a new nomination, or we in the United States and, quite frankly, the world is in deep trouble. However, I will offer an idea. I nominate either Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania or Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. If anyone else has some positive ideas, let’s hear them.

President Biden’s performance last night was bad, and you can’t judge it in any other way.

I also could go on about the lie after lie Trump told without anyone pushing back. It’s easy to debate when you can make up any answer you want. Even if the moderator had pushed back on the lies, being a sociopath, Trump would ignore it and double down.

President Biden has given a lifetime of service to our country. The man has done enough. If I had his ear, I would ask him for one more duty: please step aside and let the Convention nominate a new ticket.

If these are the cards we have to play in November, I will vote for President Biden because Trump is a terrible excuse for a human being, and that trumps being old.

So, one ‘debate’ lasting 90 mins is the deciding factor for the presidency. Don’t pay attention to all the positive accomplishments that President Biden has achieved.

Don’t pay attention to the fact that trump’s multiple lies: *Trump says Biden “allowed millions of people to come in here from prisons, jails and mental institutions.” – Pants on Fire!

*Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country.” – Mostly False

*Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country.” – False

*Trump: “The problem (Democrats) have is they’re radical, because they will take the life of a child in the eighth month, the ninth month, and even after birth.” – False

*Trump: “He caused this inflation. I gave him a country with … essentially no inflation. It was perfect.” – Mostly False

*Trump: “You look at the cost of food, where it’s double, triple and quadruple.” – False

*Trump: “The only jobs (Biden) created are for illegal immigrants and bounce-back jobs, bounce-back from the COVID.” – False

*Trump: Biden “indicted me because I was his opponent.” – False

*Trump: “Social Security, he’s destroying it, because millions of people are pouring into our country, and they’re putting them onto Social Security. They’re putting them onto Medicare, Medicaid.” – False

*Trump: “He wants to raise your taxes by four times. He wants to raise everybody’s taxes by four times.” – False

*Trump: “I gave you the largest tax cut in history.” – False

*Trump: “What he’s done to the Black population is horrible, including the fact that for 10 years, he called them super predators … in the 1990s.” – False

*Trump: “I’m the one that got the insulin down for the seniors.” – Mostly False

*Trump: “We had no terror (attacks) under my administration.” – False

*Trump: Regarding the 2020 election, “the fraud and everything else was ridiculous.”

*Trump: Pelosi said “I take full responsibility for Jan. 6.” – False

Fire Biden’s campaign staffers. Seeing Biden immediately after the debate shows he hasn’t lost it, he was over-prepped by his staff. Biden entered the debate trying to get in all the talking points his staffers could think of, was talking too fast to get it in, and that brought his lifelong stutter into play. The result is obvious, he looked and sounded bad. And that debate was all about optics, not policies.

*Biden: Presidential historians “voted who was the worst president in American history. From best to worst. They said (Trump) was the worst in all of American history.” – True

*Biden: “I’ve changed (the law) in the way that now you’re in a situation where there are 40% fewer people coming across the border illegally.” – Mostly True

*Biden: While talking about a bipartisan border bill, “by the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me, endorsed my position.” – Half True

*Biden: “Economists say (Trump’s proposed tariffs are) going to cost the average American $2,500 a year or more.” – Mostly True

*Biden: Semiconductor jobs “to build these chips … pay over $100,000. You don’t need a college degree for them.” – Mostly False

*Biden: “Black unemployment is the lowest level it’s been in a long, long time.” – Mostly True

*Biden: Trump “wants to get rid of Social Security, he thinks there’s plenty to cut in Social Security.” – False

*Biden: “I said I’d never raise the tax on anybody if you’re making less than $400,000. I didn’t.” – Mostly True

*Biden: Trump said, “I don’t want to go in (a World War I cemetery in France), because they’re a bunch of losers and suckers.” “Trump called this a ’made-up quote” Both statements need context.

*Biden: “We brought down the price (of) prescription drug(s), which is a major issue for many people, to $15 for an insulin shot, as opposed to $400.” – Half True

*Biden: Trump “wants to get rid of the ACA again.” – Half True

*Biden: “I’m the only president this century that doesn’t have any, this decade, that doesn’t have any troops dying anywhere in the world like he did.” – False

We have a thousand trillionaires in America. I mean billionaires in America. And what’s happening? They’re in a situation where they in fact pay 8.2 percent in taxes. If they paid 24 percent, 25 percent, either one of those numbers, they’d raise $500 million—billion dollars, I should say—in a 10-year period. We’d be able to wipe out his debt, we’d be able to help make sure that all those things we need to do—child care, elder care, making sure we continue to strengthen our health-care system, making sure that we’re able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I’ve been able to do with the COVID—excuse me, dealing with—look, if we finally beat Medicare … nuff said.

For some, last night was the first time they saw Biden freeze up. For the rest of us, it’s nothing new. My favorite moment: “I have no idea what Brandon just said. And neither does he!”

So, Democrats, the Adderall didn’t work so well? Gee, that’s too bad. You know that Biden isn’t going to bow out, right? Jill won’t let him. So which Superman is going to fly into the convention and save you?

Yeah, our Joe seemed rattled and out of breath. But, you know what? It’s easy to strut out on stage and tell nothing but lies. It’s difficult to memorize a bunch of facts and figures, and then remember to quote the right ones at the right time . . . even for a young person. And, here’s the deal – whether it’s Biden or someone else, the intelligent people of this country MUST UNITE and vote for the Democrat, because if Trump regains the White House, he will NEVER LEAVE. The Project 2025 gang of villains will swing into action, and the U.S. will be a theocracy before you can say covfefe. Say goodbye to rights for LGBTQ people, and women. Say goodbye to using contraception. Say goodbye to life as we know it . . .

If you’re Muslim, brown, or LGBTQ+ along with a major Democratic figure or media person, you better have your passport ready and not be in the country when the inauguration happens, or you can enjoy your camp. The Fascists aren’t playing around. It’s going to be swift, brutal, inhumane, etc. Hope you are planning your vacation, Clay so you’re safe.

Sigh…I always knew that if I ever got enough money to be not poor it’d be the end of the world. I’d just like to be wrong once or twice.
