A whole bunch of T-rump’s former associates don’t want him in power again. What do they know? We should listen. 1. His vice president, Mike Pence said the American people deserve to know that President Trump asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution. … Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States.”

    2. His second attorney general, Bill Barr: “Someone who engaged in that kind of bullying about a process that is fundamental to our system and to our self-government shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.”

    3. His first secretary of defense, James Mattis: “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people – does not even try. Instead he tries to divide us.”

    4. His second secretary of defense, Mark Esper: “I think he’s unfit for office. … He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country. And then, of course, I believe he has integrity and character issues as well.”

    5. His chairman of the joint chiefs, retired Gen. Mark Milley, seemed to invoke Trump: “We don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator. We take an oath to the Constitution and we take an oath to the idea that is America – and we’re willing to die to protect it.”

“THE DEPTHS OF HIS DISHONESTY IS JUST ASTOUNDING TO ME. THE DISHONESTY, THE TRANSACTIONAL NATURE OF EVERY RELATIONSHIP. THOUGH IT’S MORE PATHETIC THAN ANYTHING ELSE. HE IS THE MOST FLAWED PERSON I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE.”

    -GENERAL JOHN KELLY

It’s less than six months to the election. Bit late to really be worrying about this.

The primaries show that voted Democratic in the Primaries stand firmly behind Biden. Whereas, conversely the Republican Primaries show there is less confidence from the Republican voters in Traitor Trump.

Trump told at least 30 lies during the debate, some at great length, thus taking up almost all of his time.

You can ignore. You can defend. You can excuse. You can pretend.

You can act as though it doesn’t matter. But the fact remains: you are supporting an individual who lies every time he speaks.

Jill Biden holds a doctorate. She’s not a Doctor! If she were, she’d be guilty of malpractice. She cares more about the First Lady perks, the foreign dignitary dinners, the worship of the Hoi Polloi, and the Air Force One travel than she does about her husband’s well-being. Let alone her country’s. She understands above all that the minute Joe leaves office, she becomes irrelevant.

And Joe Biden didn’t just flub a debate. He revealed to the world what was previously (and carefully, deliberately) hidden; that his dementia has progressed to the point that he can’t even function well as a normal human being.

Let alone as the President of the United States.

It’s now evident it’s the Dems who are a threat to our Democracy — many must have known for some time about Joe’s degraded state but have kept it hidden — worse, even blamed Joe’s now evident frailties on RNC fakery — for the sole purpose of trying to ensure Trump will not win at the ballot box. But the debate was on LIVE TV, the Joe Biden condition we saw was the real Joe Biden’s condition. Their dissembling continues…

Sad/irrational/frustrating when political parties have different definitions of ethics/morality resulting in divisive, dual lexicons.

Poor Uncle Sam. There have been many contentious elections in our history. This one has got to be the most vicious and divisive yet. No wonder the Dems claim democracy is at stake. The Dems are losing their coalition of minorities and it scares the $hit out of them.

The gutting of precedent in the Chevron ruling means that every and any rule, regulation, or opinion about anything from bridge construction to child labor has to be specified by Congress. Congress, even without that on its plate, is clearly non-functional. This, by itself, will cause any progress to stop in its tracks for the foreseeable future. Hello, dam failures, pipeline leaks, chemical explosions. That’s likely to be pretty danged costly.

Add a Dotard presidency, with tax cuts for the wealthy, with more tariffs which Americans have to pay, with deportation of meat-processing plant and fruit-and-vegetable-harvest workers, and you will see inflation at an unimaginable level. Isolationism and a willingness to shield children from a well-rounded education will weaken us even more.

Be careful what you wish for.

The Heritage Foundation and the MAGA Republicans are doing everything in their power to divide the citizens of the U.S.A. The billionaires are fighting tooth and nail to keep their obscenely inflated profits and to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. They been steadily working toward an oligarchy where they are the favored few and all other citizens are the serfs who serve them.

They are also the ones pushing the “whispers” that President Biden is not up to the job over one bad debate.

The next day, President Biden showed up in North Carolina looking like his usual self, but one appearance that was subpar and the media pounced. I think we should cut him a little slack for ONE bad night.

President Biden has done more actual presidential work, including travelling from continent to continent, successfully managing both foreign and domestic policies better than most of his predecessors. President Biden has also shown more stamina than most younger people (including those who are calling for him to step down) year after year, month after month, week after week, day after day. No one can realistically say that he has been ineffective as a president.

Democrats need some more “Ride or Die” loyalty, instead of “If it’s not perfect, then I don’t want it.” Stop being a fair-weather friend!

Don’t allow the malignant forces at work to throw away Joe Biden, the best president we have had in my lifetime.
