It’s not Sirius’s fault if you didn’t explain the rules fast enough, George. He has the attention span of a Puppy, y’know? And one who doesn’t want to be there, either.
Aww, sweet, little Sirius. He doesn’t like this game. He is not aggressive, but Chaos sure is. Or hyper-competetive. Of course, if someone had tried to name me Chiffon, I might chase a bag or two, lol.
George should have introduced the game by it’s proper name: Lure Coursing. There are lots of variations; Fast CAT is just a timed 100 yard dash used to assess a sighthound’s ability. I have a friend who participates with several dogs – including an Italian greyhound, a silken windhound, some whippets, and even her Malinois (who is MUCH better at dock diving).
Unless it was choir/music camp in Kingston IL, I would not contemplate summer camp. The six hours a day of music was broken into fun two-hour chunks. The teachers for that were from the Chicago Children’s Choir, with other counselors handling the rest. It was all fun. We did raspberry picking, then making ice cream with them, canoeing, swimming, and even a night sleeping on a tarp (in sleeping bags) under the stars.

Sirius is thinking. “Caught it! This isn’t so hard.”

I think Floof is the only cat Sirius wants to chase, and then it’s all part of the games they play.

Chaos truly lives up to his chosen name! George has his paws full with this class.

To think of it George looks like the canine equivalent of a school coach: big, impatient, short tempered and imposing.
