It’s not just pluggers here, and the reason is kangaroos (not the kangaroo plugger, just the normal kind who delight in jumping in front of your car)

That was true for me until I had cataract removal surgery. Now driving at night doesn’t bother me at all.

Here in Montana, it’s all the wildlife on the roads that make driving dangerous. Already spent $3000 on front right end for mule deer.

And to avoid the chaos of everyone heading to the only two exits at the same time and showing absolutely no curtiousy at all.

We were at an event Wed. and left at dusk. The only routes home involved paved-over goat trails.

Pluggers in the Northern latitudes can stay out longer cuz it stays light longer.. in the summer, in the winter they enjoy being home by 3:30.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

If you came into this cold, you might think that Pluggers took place in a post-apocalyptic world where the roads were ruled by bandits or mutants after the sun goes down, leaving ordinary folk in a state of panic. But no! It’s just that pluggers are old and their eyesight is failing, and that makes them a danger to themselves and others when they drive.

Hopefully those self driving cars see better than I do at night.

If you really cannot drive in the dark, you will eventually be the unfortunate victim of unforeseen delaying circumstances and be stranded.

Well drawn! The sun moves about one diameter in 2 minutes. So in 10 minutes the sun moves 5 diameters.

Husband’s concern is more about rain than darkness. He won’t drive it is even drizzling unless we absolutely have to do something then. And since he suffers from motion sickness – I cannot drive with him in the car.
