I write separately to highlight another way in which this prosecution may violate our constitutional structure. In this case, the Attorney General purported to appoint a private citizen as Special Counsel to prosecute a former President on behalf of the United States. But, I am not sure that any office for the Special Counsel has been “established by Law,” as the Constitution requires. Art. II, §2, cl. 2. By requiring that Congress create federal offices “by Law,” the Constitution imposes an important check against the President—he cannot create offices at his pleasure. If there is no law establishing the office that the Special Counsel occupies, then he cannot proceed with this prosecution. A private citizen cannot criminally prosecute anyone, let alone a former President.
I won’t take the time to reply to each liberal idiot individually, because there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
Suffice it to say that I knew the standard actors would misconstrue the decision to make it seem like SCOTUS said a President could do anything and get away with it. They’re so invested in their “the sky is falling" narrative that they can’t understand that the ruling means a President can’t be held criminally responsible for official acts. Sonia Sotomayor even said that under the ruling, a president would be immune for taking a bribe to issue a pardon (never mind that bribery is specifically listed in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment).
Liberal also fail to understand that the ruling means Obama can’t be tried for manslaughter for droning a wedding procession instead of terrorists in Yemen, and that Biden can’t be tried for abetting terrorists for allowing billions of dollars of military equipment to fall into the hands of terrorists.
But why let all of that get in the way of a good old fashioned liberal meltdown?
Trump won’t have to work on solidifying his Presidential power. The Supreme Court just did it for him. All he will have to do now is place some loyal, billionaire oligarchs in positions of power, and crush anyone threatening his regime. He won’t need MAGA anymore. Did you think he liked hanging out with you in airplane hangers at his rallies? Pretty naive if you think about it.

Let’s sing the Conservative Supreme Court Anthem…
Die Fahne hoch! Die Reihen fest geschlossen!
GOP marschiert mit ruhig festem Schritt.
Die Straße frei den MAGA Bataillonen.
Die Straße frei dem SturmabteilungsTrump!
