    The term “trickle down economics” has its origin in Ronald Reagan’s economic program, though the concept itself is far older. The idea is that if the economy is structured to favour the rich, the economic benefits would inevitably “trickle down” to benefit the average citizen.

    This was over four decades ago, and I’m sure the trickle is going to kick in any day now.

    As I recall the Dems started that term as a derogatory. I have never worked for a poor man and am not jealous of the so called “Rich.” My working years go from 1970 -2020. Personally we have done fine in spite of some questionable government interventions into the economy.

    when the government gets involved the efficiency goes down,inflation goes up,as do prices.

    Government does not create wealth, it just confiscates it. Some Potiticians are in the business of growing their own wealth. i.e. Robinette. His Father and Grandfather were the last to make money the old fashioned way, They earned it.
