Just so long as you don’t fall asleep, spiritually, see 2 Thessalonians 5:1-11.

Oh my… another comic trolling Sleepy Joe being forced out of the race. Must symbolically be Barry Hussein Soetoro holding the sign.

Didn’t see this as a political shot at current pres. Saw it as the typical attitude of most of the public when it comes to major issues. Guess both might apply. Depends on how one looks at the situation.

The background is very nice. If you have to go, that would be a good place for it. Earnest’s plaid skirt, not so much.

I left specific instructions to wake me up for it, because I don’t want to miss the going away party.

If the end is coming and there is nothing I can do about it then a nap is defiantly in order.

The “End” prophesied by nuts like this has been “near” for at least the last 2000 years, most famously by William Miller in 1844. After it didn’t materialize, his disappointed followers (yes, their Great Disappointment was that the world hadn’t ended!) regrouped, reworked their math, and are now known not as Millerites but as 7th Day Adventists — one of about 45,000 denominations of Christianity which is each convinced that it alone has the proper insight into the inspired work of an omniscient being and that adherents of the other 44,999 are all doomed to eternal torment for their heresy.

A thousand years hence, the “End” will continue to be “near” in the minds of that generation’s nut cases.
