I didn’t even have ‘dirt between my toes’ when I went ‘bare-footed’ (of course, that was only once—stepped on a big yellow and black bumble bee and got a stinger in my foot and never went without shoes again) ! ! !

I hauled worn tires away from tire shops when I was younger

Handling old tires all day gets dirt EVERYWHERE

The dirt between my toes rubs off on the tree branches. I find most annoying the pieces of nutshell that get stuck between my teeth.

The trick is to wear DIFFERENT socks occasionally. Sometimes I change mine three times a day, especially if they get wet.

Apparently, nobody mentioned to him that washing socks more frequently than every 6 months might help prevent the dirty feet, with his socks on.
