Never thought I’d ever say this, but it’s good to see the rubes again after so many weeks centering on Walt!

J&R sure have come up in the world. Get a gander at them fine duds they is decked out in.

What a delightful surprise seeing Illustrious Joel on the page once again! It has seemed far, far too long to have seen him featured!

But, where is his pipe? Hopefully in his jacket pocket.

It is rather interesting that Jim has given Joel a much more full head of hair today, more akin to what the local PA (not sure why I cannot think of his name… I probably need my morning pipe and cup of coffee, then I would remember I suspect). Joel typically has a more receding hairline.

Good golly this is awful! It is just so sad that this once one of the all-time great comic strips has now become one of the all-time worst.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
